Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre প্রকল্প

      Export Promotion Bureau has undertaken the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center Construction Project in Purbachal New City Project Area which is jointly financed by Bangladesh and China. The DPP of the project was approved in 2015. Subsequently the RDPP of the project has been approved in 2018 keeping provision of residence facilities for exhibitors as well as other necessary infrastructures and  facilities.  At first 20 acres of land has been allotted for the project by RAJUK. Subsequently, more 6.10 acres land has been allotted. Now total land, allotted for the project is 26.10 acres. Construction works of the main Exhibition Hall and other related infrastructures by the Chinese government-appointed contractor are now at the final stage.  It is being expected that the construction works of China side will be completed within next 31 October, 2020. According to the RDPP of the project, all new infrastructures will be built in newly allotted land by Bangladesh plan, design and fund. As per declaration of honorable Prime Minister, the DITF of 2021 will be held there. For that purpose, more land is necessary for the exhibition center. Moreover, if more 12 acres land is allotted, it will be possible to build an Exhibition Center there of International standard. For successful operation of the  under construction Exhibition Center, it is necessary to establish easy transport system, water, telephone facilities and other infrastructures around that area. For establishing these arrangements, necessary steps are under processes.
