The Information Division has two sections: (a) Publication Section (b) Trade Information Center.

1. Publication Section:

Publication section of the Export Promotion Bureau Publishes different types of publications on export for effective & wide publicity of exportable's both at home and abroad. Printed publications are sent to Bangladesh Missions abroad, concerned Ministries, Government Departments, National and International Trade Organizations, Trade Associations, Chambers of Commerce, Sector Corporations and leading exporters. In addition to that various types of forms are printed for the use of the exporters.

Publication Section is also responsible for public relations of the Bureau. The Section circulates press releases and arranges media coverage of different activities of EPB. This section also takes initiative to insert advertisement of EPB in different periodicals and magazines at home and abroad.

2. Trade Information Center (TIC) :

In the era of 21st Century, success in international trade mostly depends on perfect and accurate information concerning world trade scenario. In this context, Trade Information Center (TIC) of EPB is playing a vital role by providing export related information to the exporters and thus it is promoting our export trade.

In a bid to explore foreign markets of Bangladeshi products, TIC disseminates trade query to the Chambers of Commerce and concerned trade associations that is collected through Bangladesh missions abroad and from foreign importers.

Trade Information Center (TIC) of the Bureau maintains a rich Commercial Library in which it preserves a large number of recently published trade directory of different countries, Statistical data, product wise market survey of different countries, publication of WTO, World Bank, ITC and other trade related organizations. In total 5,677 publications including 72 international and national periodicals are kept in the TIC.

Exporters, Businessmen, Journalist, Researcher, Teacher & Internship Student of the universities regularly visit TIC for collecting their desired information. Bureau has its own web site: www.epb.gov.bd and also has a broadband internet connection.
